This was our least friendly island. We went to a beach by water taxi and enjoyed it there, but the people weren't extremely friendly. It helped if you spoke French. Overall it was good, just not as nice as other ports.

Love Martinique, great snorkeling, nice people if you happen to speak a little French. Town is very nice.

Great boat ride to Bat Cave and snorkeling, but the glass boat turtle viewing was not great (we prefer to be underwater with them). Larger town and we had a very nice walk after lunch.

Did a two location snorkling tour. The excursion was fine, but the port itself was not great. The locals (away from the tents by the ship) were not very friendly and seemed to treat the tourist like they were in their way.

We found the people in the shops of town to not be very friendly.

Snorkeling excursion was ok. not the most spectacular snorkeling sites, but it was fun. Port town shopping was sub-par, and all of the stores closed at 1:00pm.
