No excursion but was a pretty area to walk around off the ship.

Our excursion took us to an old cathedral, a small volcano museum and then to a rum distillery. It was nice but not 'fun' by any means. After the excursion, I walked around Fort de France for a hour or so and found the area very dirty and the local people less than friendly. Would not make an effort to return to this island.

we stayed on the ship and had the pool and hot tub to ourselves for most of the day.

Looking for a tour? I contacted Marius at AM Prestige transportation to arrange a tour. He was already booked the day we are in port but he went to great lengths to secure us a tour with another guide. He could simply have said sorry, maybe next time.
