Not really impressed with this island, this was partially due to the damage that still exists from the hurricanes of 2017. Most repairs have not been done leaving it looking dismal and impoverished.

I did not like the COVID bubble and we did not get to see much of Tortola. We did excursion to Gorda Virgin baths which was OK, but not great.

Another new port for us. We tend to walk everywhere we want to go in ports that we visit.

If I didn't have family this is where I would retire to. The beauty of this place equates to Eden or Paradise. Homes are build into the hills and roadways are steep and winding but around every corner is a spectular view of the ocean and other islands. You could live here very lavishly on a pension.

Lovely port. Nice people. Friendly. Clean. Took a tour into the mountains with a few stops to enjoy the view. Unable to use the beach due to rough waves.

Tortola and Cane Garden Beach was beautiful. Much less touristy and much quieter. Only complaint is the roads to get to the beach are worth your life - open sided safari vans, 4 foot wide roads and hairpin turns all the way there. I grew up in NYC and thought their wasn't a taxi driver in the world that could scare me - Tortola proved me wrong
