We liked Tortola, the port was very clean and no one was there to hassle you. We did cane garden bay it was about 30 minutes to get there it is a crazy ride up over the mountain but beautiful views. 8 dollars a person each way we paid. When you get to the beach you will go through a neighborhood then at the end bam there is this beach. Amazing. You will see destruction still but it won’t take away from the beach. There was a little restaurant with good food and the deals on the booze are good 6 beers for $20. We rented 2 chairs and a umbrella for $20. Water was clam, warm and saw lots of fish. Our 3 year old loved it so did we. Get there early, make friends and have fun.

We had been to Tortola before and wanted to go back to Cane Garden Bay Beach. After the rain lessened, we took a cab to the beach. There was still a lot of damage from hurricanes, but Myett's Beach Bar was there with cold local beer at great prices - the water was warm and the beach was beautiful. What a fantastic day and a very cool port!

Beautiful, make it over to Jost Van Dyke and the Soggy Dollar. Well worth it. Take a private boat if at all possible.

Don't shop here. Very expensive, but it is a very beautiful island. Very Safe. Take the tour that takes you to Cane Garden Bay. You'll have an hour at the beach and see a lot of the island. Very nice.

Stunningly beautiful, this was our favorite. A few more stores would have been nice though.

Tortola was beautiful and clean, but very expensive and they would not bargain like they did in other ports. The people were warm and friendly, but don't shop in this port, go to the beach.
