Tortola is just sad. It has not recovered from the 2017 hurricanes and there are damaged ships and vehicles everywhere. We did a tour of the island.

Did a 2hr taxi tour of the island. This was good although they tried to cram more people in without success.

We tried to get some assistance about planning, but little help given. We took a taxi to a beach ($) and had to pay to rent beach lounge chairs ($) and umbrellas($). Super overcrowded, not pleasant or relaxing.

Again we’ve been here many times; love it. We went to Long Bay Beach on an excursion.

We did a beach day here. Nice beach but the drive over the mountain was scary. The woman who did the taxi was so rude.

Did an excursion to virgin gorda and the baths. 100% recommend going to this if you are physically able. It was simply amazing! The boulders are massive and the water is so pretty. It was another bumpy ferry ride to virgin gorda and many people on board were feeling queasy. The destination was totally worth it though. The ride back was better.

There is nothing interesting to see in Tortolla. We went to the Cove Garden Bay beach, and it was very similar to the Megan's Bay beach in St. Thomas. I would have preferred to stay another night in St. Thomas instead of wasting 1/2 day in Tortola.

We signed up for a tour with a beach stop and shopping. There was no shopping except at the beach. I wish that had not been there because it was junk and took away from the beautiful area. Our tour was interesting. I didn't realize how much destruction there would be from the storms. The beach was gorgeous. We didn't know we would have to purchase chairs and an umbrella. $40 for an hour It would be helpful to know this as I didn't take much cash with me. That was annoying.

This port is still recovering from hurrican Irma. The pier area has been rebuilt with all the shops but you can still see a lot of damage. We took a 2 hour island tour that was offered at the pier and the devistation remaining was unbelievable, so much damage words cannot describe it. Our driver/guide did an excellent job narrating all the areas we visited so we were able to get a sense of his experience through the hurricane first hand.
