I went horseback riding up to a beautiful waterfall. It was actually kind of scary, but overall, it was a very good excursion.

Stay on the boat...very dirty and poverty stricken. Shopping is more a hassle than a pleasure. Mangrove excursion was run by a Domincan captain that was impossible to understand.

This is a small island that offers limited shopping. The only thing to do here is swim and sunbathe.

Went for the horse back ad water fall excursion. Steps/hike down and back up to waterfall need to be improved. Safty hazard and very strenous activies. My legs aches for 2 days afterwards, but to see the waterfall was worth it!

Wasted our day waiting to get off the ship and then leave for our excursion.

We were tendered and weren't allowed ashore because of not getting approval from the local authorities. We hung around for over three hours and the captain made the decision to raise the anchor and leave, which was the right decision, and about an hour after leaving the ship received word that we were approved to go ashore but we were gone. So other than seeing the island from the ship and watching the police/government patrol boat circle the ship it was kind of a quiet experience. The weather was beautiful though. We had an excursion scheduled and it was refunded so that's about it.
