A long walk to get to downtown from the Port. And yet another half a day I would of rathered given this day up for a full day in Martinique. We just did some shopping as we have been to this island before. We tried to find some off the beaten path things as again you are surounded by jewlery stores.

Just be prepared for the crazy taxi rides! We had the ride of our life here and I work on as an EMT for a living. I wanted to get out of the taxi and kiss the ground!

You can easily share a taxi to Magen's Bay for a few hours. It's a lovely beach with decent food and drink available.

Port was good and the shore excursion was a catamaran trip to St John island with snorkel was fantastic. The captain Val and her crew of the flying dolphin was top notched.
