Love this port even though the weather was a little stormy. We did the Fast Cat Snorkeling and Honeymoon Beach excursion. Had a blast but wish the weather would have allowed more time on the beach.

We had been to St Thomas before and toured island so we took a boat trip to St John for beach and snorkeling. Was excellent, guides on boat pointed out all the local history and homes of the famous. Snorkeling is right off beach and husband said it was great.

Travelers have to take a taxi to get to the two beaches available. The second option Coki Beach is very nice but crowed.

Charlotte Amalie is still recovering from the hurricane damage when we visited so I planned ahead and opted to taxi out to Sapphire Beach and back. Some of the roads are even skinnier due to land slides and debris. Sapphire Beach, while the resort around it was still in shambles, was amazing and they had a beach bar open and bathroom facilities. ATM was onsite but out of commision due to storm water damage. We brought snorkeling gear and swam out just past where the waves started and it was super clear.

Port was clean, nice. Went snorkeling at shipwreck and turtle cove with Castaway Girl. Knowledgeable, fun crew. Enjoyed.

St. Thomas is always nice. We just took a cab to sapphire beach. Fine sand and beautiful clear water but a bit rocky in spots so water shoes are nice to have along.
