A: a little expensive but a very beautiful view
Answered by sstephan13 on August 19, 2024
A: I quite enjoyed the views and the overall experience. I purchased the Up Up and Away ride on Black Friday and thought it was worth that discounted price
Answered by sailAwayking on August 19, 2024
A: High wind cancelled balloon rides the day we visited CocoCay.
Answered by VAcruisenut on August 19, 2024
A: Everything is done through the cruise planner. Go to the Royal Caribbean website, sign in, go to my cruises, then under the cruise you want, there’s a button that says “Plan my Cruise”. Within the cruise planner, coco cay bookings will be under the s... hore excursions tab. I believe you can also book within the app by clicking “Excursions” on the lower menu-bar while on the central page. Finally, there is also a shore excursion desk onboard the ship that will allow you to book any shore excursions while onboard. This is the worst option, as some will be sold out, and the price will be higher, but on the flip side, there will be a crew member to help you out if you have questions.See More
Answered by SeveralChunks on August 20, 2024
A: You can book on the Royal Caribbean app or online. Log into your Royal Caribbean account, click on your cruise and then click on your cruise planner button.
Answered by kef2016 on August 17, 2024
A: Whatever you book make sure to keep track of the price often as they change. You can always cancel what you’ve purchased thru the cruise planner and reorder at the cheaper price.
Answered by livlifenoregret on August 18, 2024
A: There are places to go on Cococay that doesn't cost anything but if you want to do things that cost then I would go through the app before the cruise. They run sales especially during holidays.

A: No, you don’t have to pay for everything, only special shore activities. The beaches, pools, food etc are all included. The below response is incorrect and your drinks package works fully in the island.

A: To find a "quiet" spot, head as far left as possible, near the food. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas but not next to the loud music. if the music is your thing then heated pool all day long
Answered by SextonTravel on July 15, 2024
A: The only reason to take the tram is it’s a sand walkway. Otherwise it’s fine. Get there early as it get quite full. Always go to the very end for open lounges.
Answered by Gravel6 on July 16, 2024
A: Take the tram, it's a long walk. If possible get there early to pick your spot.
Answered by mattward on July 16, 2024
A: In our view the benefits don’t match the price with all the free loungers and umbrellas available on the island.
Answered by livlifenoregret on May 13, 2024
A: If you have the means and don't care to explore the rest of the island, of course it is. If you would like to walk around and check out the other beaches, the pool, then no. I myself, I like to bounce around. Spend time in each area.
Answered by BMC22 on May 14, 2024
A: Not really, but it depends how much you want to spend.

A: People telling others to remove their service charge that's not right. The crew work very hard and they deserve that.
Answered by enjoyurdaysmile on May 9, 2024
A: I also agree that removing gratuities is a crappy move. DONT book a cruise if you can’t afford the gratuities for each person. You wouldn’t go out to dinner at a restaurant and not tip your server.
Answered by livlifenoregret on May 10, 2024
A: Pre-pay your gratuities! If your girls drink a lot of sodas pre-pay for those also! I brought drink cups that at lunch they filled up on free tea or lemonade! The arcades are great hang out but to play games they cost and add up real fast. I pu... t $15 a day on their cards. When money was gone that was it! At CocoCay theres pools ocean cove to swim in free. Mine loved the pools. Did not purchase the waterpark! I talked with my kids b4 we went and went first time with them to the arcade and teen area. As mentioned prepay for internet! That way yall can communicate! I also brought a note pad so if i was at pool i left a note and same for them. We had meet up times so we could get pizza or ice cream! Your going to love cruising! Last of all have fun take pictures laugh!!See More

A: Watch for those room key swipes in the kid casino/arcade. :-)
Answered by TheVegasSphere on May 9, 2024
A: It's best to know what your kids like then plan accordingly. It might be best to get the soda package for the kids. Order a case of water from the cruise app and bring snacks from home to take off ship pr just to have.

A: I would cancel. that's a lot of money to be cold.
Answered by walkingdeadcrz on January 17, 2024
A: I’ve never purchased the cabana but it was quite chilly when we were there in November. It was not at all enjoyable and the blue lagoon pool was absolutely frigid, I was shaking. They need to heat it in the winter months 🥴
Answered by emtravels95 on January 17, 2024
A: 🥶 i would. It will probably feel colder being on the water. Or plan on wearing warm clothes 😳
Answered by Chetley on January 17, 2024
A: I say cancel. You will have a breeze as well which will make even cooler
Answered by mims56 on January 17, 2024
A: Sure why not or cancel the entire cruise. It’s going to be too cold to do anything or stay in the cabin with a thermal blanket if you don’t cancel the trip.
Answered by cscharal on January 18, 2024
A: Personally I absolutely would cancel it. Plenty to do there without it and saves a bunch of money

Q: This might be a silly question but if schedule says you are at a port from 7am- 6pm, does this mean you have to be back to the ship by 6pm or the ship LEAVES at 6pm?
Thumbs Up

A: It usually means the ship is going to depart at 6pm…and usually boarding ends 30 mins prior
Answered by CruisingDuck on August 19, 2023
A: It means to ship leaves at 6 PM. Do you normally have to be back on at least an hour before. They should either make an announcement or put it in the daily itinerary that you get while you’re on board. That usually have it listed when you disembark t... he ship to.See More
Answered by travelingDeb on August 19, 2023
A: Yeah for Royal they raise the gangway 30 mins before the listed departure time. So if the time is 6pm they want you back on board no later than 5:30pm

Q: Current rate for a cabana says “$1200/adult. $1200/child” is this for real?! I thought you paid one fee and it held up to 8 people??

A: The price shown is for 1 cabana that is for up to 8 ppl. It’s not $1200 per person.
Answered by GrizzNationFan on August 19, 2023
A: IMO don’t waste your money on a Cabana unless you really want it. The island has enough loungers and umbrellas available for free. The amenities (if you wanna call them that) for the cabana aren’t worth $1200. You could book another cruise for the pr... ice you’d spend on the cabana!!!See More

There is a little beach that is in the vicinity of the water park with chairs. It’s not real b... ig so if you want a chair you have to get there early.
