People telling others to remove their service charge that's not right. The crew work very hard and they deserve that.

The service charge is crew appreciation for the stateroom attendants & restaurant depts. It's billed each day to your account.

It's best to know what your kids like then plan accordingly. It might be best to get the soda package for the kids. Order a case of water from the cruise app and bring snacks from home to take off ship pr just to have.

Watch for those room key swipes in the kid casino/arcade. :-)

Pre-pay your gratuities! If your girls drink a lot of sodas pre-pay for those also! I brought drink cups that at lunch they filled up on free tea or lemonade! The arcades are great hang out but to play games they cost and add up real fast. I put $15 a day on their cards. When money was gone that was it! At CocoCay theres pools ocean cove to swim in free. Mine loved the pools. Did not purchase the waterpark! I talked with my kids b4 we went and went first time with them to the arcade and teen area. As mentioned prepay for internet! That way yall can communicate! I also brought a note pad so if i was at pool i left a note and same for them. We had meet up times so we could get pizza or ice cream! Your going to love cruising! Last of all have fun take pictures laugh!!

plan ahead for the $16 per day per person they are going to charge you. with 3 people it will be about $50/day or $350 for the week. you can have it removed at guest services if you want to.

Know that the waterpark on Coco Cay is an additional cost for admission. And if you don't have a drink package, drinks are additional on the island too.

I also agree that removing gratuities is a crappy move. DONT book a cruise if you can’t afford the gratuities for each person. You wouldn’t go out to dinner at a restaurant and not tip your server.

If you want to purchase any beverage packages or wifi, purchase it through the app before your cruise since it will be more expensive once on board. Wifi is not free.

You can easily go to guest services and block your children’s sea pass cards from being able to charge things like arcade credits and things.

I gave my kids a spending limit. Like 1 special drink(frozen drink) per day otherwise we drink the Sodas we brought on board and have a reusable bottle for the included water or juice at the buffet.. my kids aren't into arcade games just had fun using the included activities. Definitely prepay gratuities. But I know my kids so tailor your spending to how your kids have fun.

They have the kids club for your 10 and 14 yr olds, but will be in separate groups.

You can use the texting feature within the app for free, on any smart device! Connect to Royal Caribbean Wi-Fi for free. The RC app has a messaging feature built in. It's not great, but work's good enough to communicate with your kids and keep each other posted and updated! I wouldn't waste money on Internet unless you need it for work or something. Happy Cruising!! 😁

You don’t need the internet if you guys have iPhone. You can connect to the wifi for free to use the app and then you can send iMessages without having to buy the internet package. This worked for our family we just got off the Wonder with royal caribbean. If you need the internet for work or anything else you need to buy the package.

Also you can bring a case of soda (12-Pack) as Carry on.. so no need for soda package. Just my opinion. Refillable water bottles for juice/iced tea/water is a good idea as well!
