We loved Ocean Cay. The island is still new and growing so it may look a bit bare but everything that is included on the ship is also on the island so its a great experience. We did snorkeling at the lagoon and saw a turtle!

We booked the Shipwreck Snorkeling excursion through MSC and were not disappointed. The ocean was many beautiful shades of aqua and turquoise. Ocean Cay itself, having just opened a few weeks ago, still needs to acquire experience in serving lunch (long lines instead of just letting people self-regulate themselves as is done onboard the ship's buffet.) The water clarity was poor, saw virtually no fish (except one nurse shark). The so-called snorkeling beach near the Lighthouse was closed due to 1) jellyfish invasion (official reason) and/or 2) many nurse sharks feeding on tiny baitfish (eyewitnessed by another couple we met).

Didn't have the junkanoo parade since to windy and the weather wasn't the best but the island was nice, great music and plenty of options for beach areas and bar areas.

Too windy. Ship would not take the risk to dock. But we could see the beautiful water of the beach from the distance. The yacht club made up for it by adding extra awesomeness BBQ cookouts and dinner specials. And we felt like it could not be better off the ship anyway.

This is an amazing place. It is still not finished, as we were one of the first to visit, but it will be one of the nicest private island out there.

This is still being developed a bit but looking gorgeous. We didn't have the best weather when we visited, so are looking forward to going back when it is a warm sunny day, the water looked beautiful. Our only issue was that the yacht club restaurant was too small to accomodate the guests - will they be expanding or adding another restaurant venue?
