Review summary

MSC is trying to do better, but they still have a long way to go. Cannot be compared with Royal Caribbean, NCL or Celebrity.

Embarkation

Embarkation was a little slow. When we arrive to the port security lines were closed, so it took a long time to clear everyone.

Food and Dining

The food was mediocre at most. The menu on the buffet was always the same , and dining room experience was average at most.

Onboard Activities

The activities were ok , but not top notch.

Entertainment

All the week they have the same shows. Singers and dancers with different customs and music.

Service and Staff

Room steward was very good. Very clean and well maintained room. Dining service was very slow and not very friendly.

Ship Quality

The ship is very nice and clean. Pools were nice, and main pool might be the biggest on a cruise ship. Promenade is nice , but small.

Very nice and modern cabin. Balcony is small but enough.

Try to avoid Kukumba Beach. They sell you this as a Caribbean beach , but it's just a home made pool. Very disappointed place .

The port was very nice. An awesome beach at a walking distance from the ship.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

This is an amazing place. It is still not finished, as we were one of the first to visit, but it will be one of the nicest private island out there.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5

They announced express disembarkation at 6.45, but doors opened only after 7.20. It was a mess. After we leaved the ship it was very quick.
