Okay people this island is owned by Ncl. I have been there several times on earlier cruises. I never had to pay for a beach chair, an umbrella,or a tax/service charge for my drinks. I paid to go on your cruise this is your island why in the world would you charge me to use it???

Loved GSC! Loved how the beverage package worked on the island and food was included!! Avoid the first main beach. Walk down past the light house to the second beach. Much quieter, nice waves, amazing shells, sting rays. Also go to the food truck that has pulled pork sandwich, mahi mahi sandwich, chicken sandwich and seafood ceviche! Get the rum cake too. Avoid the buffet. Straw market on the island was lame. But remember you can bargain the price!

Without question, the best originate island I’ve ever seen. We had a villa on the front side of the island facing the ship and the Royal Caribbean private island, Coco Cay. This was the most beautiful lagoon setup along with wonderful beach and accommodations. Mostly, the bar staff was quick, but not until they got tipped. The private full bathroom was an amazingly great amenity, and the fact that you didn’t need to carry towels or beach toys or water off the ship, made this even better. Beverage package is accepted here and the buffet food was AMAZING

Found a couple of chairs under a palm tree and enjoyed a relaxing time. Definitely more built up that 3 years ago when we last visited GSC
