We went on an excursion to a private beach, and it was one of the BEST things about our trip! All you care to drink was included, which was delicious, and they didn't skimp on the liquor! They had a inflated playground and tons of beach chairs and umbrellas! One of my family's favorite part!

Port is run down but we got a day pass for Grand Lucaya Resort all-inclusive food and drink for $56 per-person. Taxi from port to resort is $10 round-trip.

We really enjoyed our time in Freeport it's such a beautiful island. Yes, it is industrial right at the dock but they have to make a living so this didn't bother me all at. We took a taxi at $10 per person round trip to the Grand Lucayan resort and purchased a day pass for $20 each. Such a beautiful resort and the beach was amazing. People were offering different activities like jet ski rentals and parasailing right on the beach, but we just stuck to relaxing and enjoying our day. We spent most of the day there then headed back to the dock where we did some shopping. My husband wanted a t-shirt from the Harley store and of course we had to pick up a rum cake! We then headed over to Fat Tuesday's and had conch fritters and a few margaritas before returning to the cruise ship. I really loved that the shopping and restaurants were just steps away from the ship. Loved everything about Freeport!

We didn’t budget enough to do excursions through the cruise line in Freeport. They were generally more costly than the Nassau excursions. We did our own excursion. We took a cab ($7 round trip) to Taino Beach. The Stoned Crab Restaurant grants beach access for $5. You can get beach lounge chairs with umbrella on the beach. The food is delish!!! They have all sorts of water activities available for all ages. My wife and I loved it!! And we didn’t have to spend much at all.

while my husband went on an excursion to kayak, my girls and I went and enjoyed a shopping trip around the dock and lunch at Senior Frogs. We had a great time!

Originally did not book an excursion but decided last minute to book one. Did the snorkel/dolphin encounter on the advice of the excursion desk folks. It was so much fun and I'm glad we did it.

We just shopped in Freeport! The shopkeepers were friendly! They did not push you to purchase! Of course they wanted you to but we’re not forceful!!! Loved it there
