They substituted another Bahama island because we didn't get to go to the private island and we got off and right back on. It was filthy. The sidewalks were terrible with a scooter and we did not feel safe at all! The 2nd Bahama island (Freeport?) was nice once we got into the shopping area. I had to ask 2 Bahamians how to get to the shopping. All we could determine was people coming out through security to get back to the ship. It was not evident how to enter and I have cruised for 30 years!

Freeport is only good for getting something from the straw market to show you were in Freeport, Bahamas, but everything was exactly the same at almost every single stall. You could tell almost nothing was handmade, which is what we look for. Outrageous prices too. Will never go back to Freeport and if we do we won’t get off the ship.

Beautiful, clean and friendly. Souvenir shops within walking distance of the ship. And I don't think they heard of COVID at Senor Frogs.

The island has suffered damage over the years and tourism is down a lot. It’s sad to see all the hotels and resorts closed. We did the Jeep excursion and the jeeps are old. The listing made it sound like it would be a little different than it turned out to be. We had fun though. Guide was great and the beach was great. The “lunch” left much to be desired.

head to the Grand Lucayan beach, 20 minute cab ride. clean, bathrooms nearby, stores/restaurants across the street with a food/beverage stand on the beach. Take cash!

We did a tour to Tiano Beach Resort and literally had the entire beach to ourselves. We felt like royalty.

Great shopping! There is great shopping right off the dock. You don't need to do a lot of walking and there are plenty of places to rest. If you want to see the beach, you'll need to plan an excursion, but there wan't even enough time to really do that.
