Review summary

It was wonderful to be with our mom and just sit on the balcony and watch the waves. Memories we will hold dear!

Embarkation

We had to wait quite a while to get a wheelchair (which I reserved) for my 85 year old mother. I had to ask the CS rep 2x for it and he finally told me to go beyond the suitcase belt and flag down someone for a wheelchair. After a long 2 part flight, this was not what expected or had planned on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The buffet was good. I wish there had been more options for seafood on the buffet and dining rooms. What food we ate was excellent.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We really didn''t participate due to my mom''s age and limitations. But everything looks great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the shows that we attended.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our Butler, concierge, etc. were most excellent. We loved our suite!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We thought it was well designed for a scooter and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was perfect for 3 of us. The scooter fit in the room well and we loved the balcony, coffee maker, beds. The handicapped bathroom was well appointed.

Ship tip

Understand the food options ahead of time.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

We really enjoyed the close shopping.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
They substituted another Bahama island because we didn't get to go to the private island and we got off and right back on. It was filthy. The sidewalks were terrible with a scooter and we did not feel safe at all! The 2nd Bahama island (Freeport?) was nice once we got into the shopping area. I had to ask 2 Bahamians how to get to the shopping. All we could determine was people coming out through security to get back to the ship. It was not evident how to enter and I have cruised for 30 years!

Disembarkation

It was a bit difficult with my mom because we had to leave the scooter on the ship. Once she was out of the cruise wheelchair, she had to walk with us and we were carrying luggage. There was no where for her to sit while we secured transportation to the airport. Don''t know what we can do if we take her again.
