I'm sure Cococay would have been much bettter but for the weather. We went snorkling, but the visability was bad and we couldn't see anything....

I honestly wish I had not gotten off the boat. The island of Cococay was created by Royal Caribbean just for its cruises. I spoke to a lot of people who enjoyed the island, but it just wasn't for me. The entire island was covered in fake sand, and there were no natives because everyone there was on our boat with us. We waited in line for about an hour to get lunch... the food setup was inefficient because there were 5 different lines for the same thing but no one knew that, so everyone stood in one giant line. We tried to lay out, but it was too hot that day, so we ended up going back to the boat after lunch. I wish we had stopped at another port in the Bahamas instead of Cococay.

Cococay was definitely a must see. What a beautiful island. So very relaxing. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to leave so early. Last tender was at 3:30. I was expecting to leave at 5. I rented rafts for the day (2) at $10.00 each at 2:30 and an announcement was made at 3 stating last tender was at 3:30. I think that the person who rented the rafts should have advised me that I only had one hour to use them.
