The boardwalk along the bay was wonderful to walk. From the ship you could walk to downtown. The walk from the ship to downtown is very easy. Just plan to use the board walk to return to the ship as the town slopes downhill to the boardwalk.

Not much to see here too. But we did have a good time by renting bicycles on the pier/port. We rode around went through “open hearth park” and then across town (very close) to “greenlink municipal park” and then back to the port. Very nice ride.

Loved Sydney, NS. We did the Bird Islands of Cape Breton. Local captain took about 30 people in his boat. We saw dozens of birds including bald eagles; also seals. Beautiful day. The captain was very informative. Sandwich and water served for lunch - we didn't eat.
