We did a tour called Sip and Taste. It was a group of 12 and we tasted food and drinks at different restaurants and pubs on the tour. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys food and drinks.

This is our 3rd visit to this port. We looked forward to our return visit to have the best lobster meal. Again, the lobster meal was wonderful at the McKelvie's.

We loved Halifax and plan to return. We rented a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the train station, within walking distance from the Dock and drove to Peggy's Cove, Fisherman's Cove, the Titanic Cemetery and the Citadel, among other attractions. We also walked all around the town, took photos, familiarized ourselves with its history, shopped for souvenir clothing and had an enjoyable lunch on the road. We did not do an excursion.

Went on the Hop On Hop Off tour buses thru RCCL. Enjoyed choosing which of the 13 stops we would spend time at and for how long. And the buses have very good guides who narrate throughout, whenever you get back on. Saw the Public Garden before Hurricane Dorian. It was spectacular at that time. Spent a good deal of time at The Citadel. Well worth it. Only regret is we did not get to Peggy's Cove, which we understand after speaking to some locals is a place your would want to get to see.
