Bar Harbor is a lovely port and the shore walk a must. Enjoyed the scenery and beautiful homes. The Lulu Lobster Excursion was fun, informative and provided real insight into the life of a Lobsterman. Booked this tour in advance and not through the cruise line. Great guys running this business.

Took drive through Acacia. Very pretty but nothing exciting. Town was too touristy. Lots of tee shirt stores.

Went I June 2017, lovely city! Did the Arcadia national park tour and lobster bake! Thought we would be at a real lobster bake on a beach and all! Nope, but the meal was delicious! Indoors and a ton of food, huge whole lobster, clams, corn, potatoes and dessert! Would do it again!

This is a quaint little settlement. Being born near Niagara Falls, I recognized that the town was full of tourists who had come to enjoy the offerings of the area - and they are enjoyable (we are contemplating on returning for a few days vacation). We board any trolley for a tour of the Acadia National Park.
