Review summary
Enjoyable except for first day. Never go on the Zaandam unless it has been completely overhauled. They had the same problem last year where people had to be busedEmbarkation
Terrible! Because of mechanical problems the ship couldn’t get to Montreal so they bused us to Quebec on school buses for 3.5 hours with no water, snacks or rest stop. Totally in humane!

Food and Dining
Main - noisey, slow service and we were hassled to buy bottled water, lobster, steak, cookbook and souvenir plate.
Buffet was usually good. Drinks are way overpriced

Pool was very nice. Lectures were good

Room steward was very good.
Waiters were slow and inattentive.

Design was good. Needs a lot of maintenance work.

Very comfortable. Size and storage was good. Steward kept it very ckean

Find out when was the last time it was in dry dock for a complete maintenance overhaul

Ports of call
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
Great excursion. Learned about the explosion, how they helped the Titanic people and how they helped take in people that were grounded on 9/11
Took drive through Acacia. Very pretty but nothing exciting. Town was too touristy. Lots of tee shirt stores.
Disembarkation
Very well done and efficient.
