Review summary

The Caribbean Princess New England left NYC in a hurry to avoid confrontation with Irene. I received a text embarkation begins @ 10:00AM. no parking at the port due to storm. info came very late, had to scramble, beg for a rental car, All mass transit halted at noon. The casino payout % is way below standard casino %. The bedding, caved in mattresses, pillows are all flat & crushed & linen always looks gray, not fresh. The food was Excellent, only ice tea was free. Entertainment was reasonable, Excellent Itinerary, fair price. If gambling & having fun in the casino is your thing, this is NOT the ship for you.

Always pleasant, trying to assist, but nothing happens, or gets done on a timely basis. had toilet problems that took three days to finally fix. Not fun in this cabin.

Bedding is Old & desperately in need of replacement. Pillows were flat & useless. linen looks & feels old & gray, not white

room was nice, but Bedding was terrible Old & requiring replacement or all bedding materials. not comfortable at all. Had toilet problems for three days before someone really repaired the system. very inconvenient
