Used the tender to get to the port, really nice area, nice lobster restaurants, couldn’t get a tour booked on board ship, all sold out

Bar Harbor is a cute tourist town. We did the whale watching excursion which I would not recommend. The vessel for the excurison was not exclusive to HAL and there were too many people. We traveled almost 90 minutes to get to a place to see whales and saw the same 2 or 3 whales 2 or 3 times then had to travel back. Not a good excursion.

Took a tour with Acadia National Park Tours (not thru RCCL). It was terrific. Our guide/driver was wonderful, informative and fun. Saw and learned a lot about the area and about the national park.

Lobster Feast and driving tour of Acadia National Park. Might have been nicer, but a major traffic accident made getting about slow and difficult. No fault of the tour operator.

We took the free shuttle bus to Jordan's pond and enjoyed the scenery and walking trails

We took a tour of Acadia National Park, Cadillac Mountain, shopped downtown and ate another delicious meal including lobster, clam chowder and blueberry pie right on the harbor with a incredible view. Another great port.
