Review summary

The Regal Princess was a very nice large ship, which was stable even when we encountered some wave action from Hurricane Michael. Even though the ship was large, we had no problem doing independent tenders. The food was great, and we were very happy with gluten free dining selection. Entertainment was also great.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Tasty meals. My husband is celiac, so must eat gluten free (GF). Head waiter Roberto from the main dining room made sure he hunted us down every night to select GF dining for the subsequent day.

Onboard Activities

It was too cool for outdoor pool and we would have had to pay $45/day to use the indoor spa jacuzzi, even on the day we had massages. Nice fitness center.

Entertainment

Really enjoyed shows. Get there a little early to get a seat.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Traveling on a large ship was nice when we encountered some wave action from Hurricane Michael. The entire ship had great ambience throughout common areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had partial obstructed view and cool weather, so we did not spend any time on the deck. Great closet space and shower was a little more roomy than other cruises we have taken. Beds were a little hard for our taste.
