We rented bikes at the Bar Harbor Bike shop at 141 Cottage St. and biked through the park. Beautiful and not too strenuous, though there are some hills. Best to go clockwise around the big lake.

This was my favorite port. It’s absolutely beautiful. This was a tender port. We took a tour of Acadia National Park. We booked that excursion off the ship. We also just walked around to all the shops. We ate at Route 64 which was very good. We really enjoyed this port. I would go back here anytime.

Lovely place. Felt special. Full lobster meal at a reasonable price.

We took a free bus ( provided you have a National Park Membership) through Acadia. Took the Sandy beach loop and went to the top and hiked down to the beach, caught the bus and went back to Bar Harbor for lunch. We figured it to be 4 or 5 miles. LOVE IT! The rain came as we hit town but we had a good lobster roll and found inexpensive T-shirts then went back to the ship for drinks. We enjoyed the tender as we had never done that before.

A neat place to visit. We ate at one the local restaurants and had the lobster roll and blueberry dessert. So good. We also took a schooner voyage around the harbor. The tender ashore went surprisingly well and quickly.

I really live Bar Harbor. Although it was cool, cloudy and rainy, we walked to the Village Green and rode the free shuttle into Acadia National Park. Got off at Sand Beach and walked two miles along the coast line to Otter Cliff. Pretty scenic but kinda rough trail in places. Had great Lobster, chowder and blueberry pie at the Route 66 restaurant. 👍

Super cute port that I wish we had more time to visit! Fortunately I don't live very far from the port and I can drive to this port to fully appreciate it. We did the Acadia National Park tour and didn't like it much. Two and a half hours to reach the summit of Cadillac Mountain, 10 minutes up there, then 45 minute ride back to town. It was a beautiful view but not quite what we expected. Still a great port thought!

Some people think this is too touristy. I beg to differ. A fun day looking through the shops and eating lunch. Very scenic setting. A bit hilly but worth the effort to walk around and enjoy it.
