This is our 2nd trip to Bermuda. It was a little cool and windy for beach and snorkeling (Early May), but we got to spend a lot of time exploring.

Bermuda was wonderful. Just not enough time. I would have preferred 2 whole days instead of 1. August was very hot and humid so it did limit what we did with our time. We did the Sail and Snorkel, the Crystal Caves and Fort Hamilton. Our whole day was spent at Rosewood Beach Resort as part of our family was staying there. The waters in Bermuda are amazingly beautiful! The pink sand is not quite what you might expect but it surely is different.

The port was very nice be we did not get to explore as much our do our excursion because it rained when we arrived in Bermuda and all of the activities cancelled.

Wish the shops would have been open later. Sunday when we arrived, everything was closed and there were shops that we were told were open until 9:00 and when we stopped by at 8:30 they had already closed. That was a bit disappointing, as during the day we spent all of our time on the beaches and would have enjoyed doing more shopping at night.

I love Bermuda - we went to Horseshoe Bay both days, because it is my favorite place in the world -we attempted to hit Snorkle Beach in the Royal Naval Dockyard and did not think much of it at all - we had to wait well past the opening time to be let in and paid $10 each for about five minutes there - we also did the Bermuda Triangle excursion at night which was Awesome, and I would definitely do it again.

We did the 5 hour mini bus tour with Viator. Well worth the money ($68 per person) if you are not familiar with Bermuda. After the tour we shopped at Clocktower Mall and checked out Snorkel Park. The next day we took NCL's free ferry to St. Georges, got a taxi ($3 apiece) to Tobacco Bay. Last day we went to Snorkel Park. Lounges seem to run $20 a person, snorkel and mask $15. There is a floating bar right off the ship where you can walk the plank and jump into the water. (Free)

Did the Restless Native snorkel trip (booked ourselves for less $) Loved it! Saw lots of fish, tried paddle boarding and kayaking. Very easy meet up from ship. Free ferries to St George and Hamilton were helpful. Wish there was cheaper way to get to Horseshoe Bay Beach. But even so, transportation options were easy to get to. We took one of the mini buses there for $7/person each way. Music from pirate ship bar made it a little loud

We've had fun excursions in Bermuda. Lawson and Ashley from Fantasea took us kayaking and we saw 20 sea turtles. Jimmy drove us to and from Horseshoe Bay Beach. They shared lots of good facts about Bermuda with us.
