Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) has this down to a science. They are very organized, and helpful, but the Boston terminal doesn't have enough seating.

The specialty dining is the best. We love the Bistro, and you should skip lunch if you plan to do to the Teppanyaki.... sooo much food, and so delicious. The Garden Cafe is the default dining option, but seating is very tight.

We enjoyed bingo, the pool, the spa... the wonderful spa, and some of the crafts.

The Swing Band was absolutely amazing. The house band was mediocre (we are a household of musicians).

Normally we get a room with a balcony, but we brought a friend. The mini-suite gave us enough room, and a curtain for privacy. The balcony is a must.
