I loved my cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines so much, at least on this boat the "Escape" - I came home and cancelled a previous booking that I made on another cruise line and am currently planning my next cruise with Norwegian - I am hoping to try out their new ship, the Encore.
The service, meals, entertainment and activities were awesome, we found the booking process for both the cruise and meals and activities on board to be easy. The pricing was good and the itinerary was great.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Our embarkation was quick and easy
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We loved the dining on the ship particularly O'Sheehans which was included in the free dining and Cagney's which was one of the specialty restaurants. All of our meals were very enjoyable, and booking the specialy restaurants was easy to do right from our cabin.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
This ship has a lot to do, we enjoyed the pools and slides, and the miniature golf course the most - we also spent time on the top deck playing basketball quite a bit.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We thought there was an excellent choice of entertainment - the only problem was fitting in all that we wanted. We enjoyed Choir of Men the most, and also Escape the Big Top - in addition the comedians and specialty parties such as the 80's night made our cruise very memorable.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful, particularly our room steward who was always ready to anticipate our needs. Everyone made us feel like they were happy to have us on board.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We found the ship easy to navigate and to be clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a balcony cabin on one of the upper decks, it was roomy and always well taken care of - I was pleased with both the balcony and the cabin.
Ship tip
Don't miss the sail away party - they really made it seem special. Coming back to the ship, after going off at the port made you feel like a VIP - they gave you a cool rag and a warm welcome, I wish I could always come home to a welcome such as they gave to everyone.
I love Bermuda - we went to Horseshoe Bay both days, because it is my favorite place in the world -we attempted to hit Snorkle Beach in the Royal Naval Dockyard and did not think much of it at all - we had to wait well past the opening time to be let in and paid $10 each for about five minutes there - we also did the Bermuda Triangle excursion at night which was Awesome, and I would definitely do it again.
I thought the disembarkation process was the worst part of our trip, that being said, I feel that it was better than my experiences, on other cruise lines, I feel this aspect is just hard to arrange without some aggravation, which is to be expected.
We were on the same cruise
I absolutely loved as we passed the Encore coming in
We will be on her for Thanksgiving November 22-29
Then the Getaway December 26-,January 3
Just cant get enough
