Hamilton is slightly nicer, but the best of Bermuda are its beaches, not its urban spots. Take a bus from Hamilton and head down South Shore Rd until you find a picture-perfect deserted beach. There are lots.

We did glass-bottom kayaking here. It was fun but short. I think we would have enjoyed a trip to the beach more

For people with disabilities the best way to see everyting is by horse drawn carriages. These carriages go allover the island and most of the drivers know the area well. If you are active take the ferry over to the Dockyard and spend the day walking and shopping. If you get the chance see the old fort and the governer's house. While inside of the fort there is a place where you can swim with the dolphins.

Hamilton is wonderful, filled with gorgeous, pastel-colored homes and buildings and pleasant, welcoming people. The best feature is their excellent bus and ferry system: one can buy a pass for however many days and use it on both ferries and buses to go anywhere.
