A beautiful city. Since our flight was in the evening we took the city highlights tour and visited Stanley Park and drove around downtown Vancouver. Next time we'll opt for a tour with an outside company where we can visit Grouse Mountain, etc. The Hop on hop off tour that is usually offered was unavailable--again maybe too early in the season.

Vancouver is one embarkation port that must include some time prior to embarkation to explore. There is much to see, whether you take a ferry or float plane to Victoria, ride a bike thru Stanley park, visit Whistler on a day trip or just enjoy the plentiful and tasty restaurants in the area.

Had to leave the ship by 10am and our flight did not leave until 10:20pm. Took a 4 hour city tour which was nice but exhausting with so many people everywhere. Got to the airport at 3:30pm and now 7 hours with nothing to do in a small airport. I would avoid this airport at all costs going forward as most everything about it was bad. You check your luggage and then they make you carry it halfway across the airport to where the luggage actually gets on the track to go to the plane. They checked our passports at least 4 times before we could finally get on the plane. It also took them a full hour to get everyone boarded on the plane. Slowest boarding process I have ever seen. Again, if at all possible avoid this airport.

Huge city, so much to see but we were exhausted and ready to be home. We went to Stanley Park and Granville Island.

Vancouver is also a gem of a port to visit: people are wonderful and warm hearted. The sights are varied and the restaruants and hotels offer something for every pocketbook and taste. This was my first visit, but won't be my last.

Make sure to go through Stanley Park and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Also, if you get time to do the Grouse Mountain, do that as well.

We loved the city and it’s parks. Weather was perfect at the end of July - lots of sun. Wish we had scheduled an extra day there to see more of the sights.
