A: Yesterday we took an Uber from the airport to our hotel in downtown Vancouver. We have a 25% tip to our driver. The total cost was $59 USD and was extremely easy.

A: A cab downtown from the airport is probably between 35 and $40 depending on traffic. If you’re able to the skytrain at the airport goes all the way downtown for a couple of dollars very affordable and quick. Vancouver also has Uber and Lyft, which ar... e also both affordable.See More

A: There are lots of Ubers here. We took the skytrain between the airport and downtown. It was super cheap. There's a station right across the street from the port which was amazingly convenient.

Ricoh has the WG series cameras which are also in the rugged category and those run around a few hundred. I believe Kodak and Minolta also ha... ve some waterproof/resistant cameras as well. Answered by dkantouth on July 8, 2024

A: The most reasonable hotel I found was a Days Inn near Canada place. It is clean and the staff is good. However, the elevator is tiny and window looked out on a concrete wall. Avoid rooms next to ice machine (end in 15) as it is very noisy. I took a... Lyft to the pier.See More

Answered by sunseekermama on July 9, 2024

A: Even if you use Skytrain, you still have to walk to the port, about a block or two. Pan Pacific hotel makes most sense as it’s right at Canada Place. You are downtown in a large city, no hotels have shuttles to the port. Just take a taxi or Uber.

A: Take the train. It's very easy.

Answered by kdlady on January 7, 2024

A: Like it was said, the Skytrain is very easy and the least expensive, unless your hotel has a shuttle. Just get on the Canada Line and get off at the Waterfront. Station. Then it is a five minute walk to the Sails.

Answered by kc7klz on January 8, 2024

A: Skytrain has less hassles (no traffic) and can get you to the city pretty quickly. Enjoy your visit, stay away from East Hastings and Davie Street. Granville Island market is a great place to visit for cool shops, micro breweries and some fresh Pacif... ic seafood. I'd also recommend a walk along the Stanley Park Seawall and time permitting, a trip up to UBC and visit the museum of anthropology.See More

A: I live in Vancouver. One of my favourite things to do, and what I recommend for you, is hop off the ship, get a taxi to Granville island, hop on the little SeaBus ($5) and it takes you on a tour and stops off at the sea wall just outside of Stanley p... ark in English Bay, where you can get off and do up to a 10k walk all around the sea wall. Bridges restaurant on Granville Island has. Lovely patio and decent food. The other option is to rent a car. I’d drive to Granville Island, have fresh fish and chips at Go, then drive around Stanley Park. You can even pop across the Lion’s Gate bridge to go to the Capilano Suspension bridge (or my favourite locals version, Lynn Canyon Suspension bridge. Another option is drive to Grouse Mountain and take the gondola up for expansive views of Vancouver. If you don’t want to drive to the north shore, you could do Granville Island + Queen Elizabeth park, which is a local favourite and has some of the best views of downtown Vancouver with the Mountains.See More
