Like it was said, the Skytrain is very easy and the least expensive, unless your hotel has a shuttle. Just get on the Canada Line and get off at the Waterfront. Station. Then it is a five minute walk to the Sails.

Skytrain has less hassles (no traffic) and can get you to the city pretty quickly. Enjoy your visit, stay away from East Hastings and Davie Street. Granville Island market is a great place to visit for cool shops, micro breweries and some fresh Pacific seafood. I'd also recommend a walk along the Stanley Park Seawall and time permitting, a trip up to UBC and visit the museum of anthropology.

We are using an air b &b. seems to be less than a hotel downtown even with the extra transport cost. We are flying in 2 days before the cruise. Plan to see the sights next day.

We rode the public train from the airport to our hotel which was a few blocks from the cruise pier. It was inexpensive, clean and safe. Vancouver is a beautiful city and I wish we had more time to enjoy it!

Our preference is a cab. Drops is off right at our hotel. So much easier when dealing with luggage

Agree take the SkyTrain. Was probably the cleanest city subway/train we’ve ever boarded!
