Hi all. Will be in Vancouver for a few hours In September our booked excursion just got cancelled recently.Any one know of any good cheap options to see Granville Island , Stanley Park and possibly Capilano suspension bridge . Only have approximately 4 hours and all the tours are too long for us to catch our flight back to the US.

It’s worth it to fly into Vancouver a day or two early if possible. Lovely city. Stanley park is right there on the water front. We took a cab there and walked the park. Only a short distance to the little ferry serving Granville Island. Enjoyed both.

4 hours is not enough to see those options. if you are in downtown . you may as well spending time at Canada's place where the cruise ship docks. lovely harbour and walking to waterfront areas: takin cab go Stanley park is feasible option

Have a walk to Gastown to see the steam clock. Not far from cruise port.

That is not enough time to see Capilano Suspension Bridge. Traffic could make it take too long. Stanley Park is near the port. You can see it from there. Not sure how much luggage you will have. You could Uber to Granville Island.

I live in Vancouver. One of my favourite things to do, and what I recommend for you, is hop off the ship, get a taxi to Granville island, hop on the little SeaBus ($5) and it takes you on a tour and stops off at the sea wall just outside of Stanley park in English Bay, where you can get off and do up to a 10k walk all around the sea wall. Bridges restaurant on Granville Island has. Lovely patio and decent food. The other option is to rent a car. I’d drive to Granville Island, have fresh fish and chips at Go, then drive around Stanley Park. You can even pop across the Lion’s Gate bridge to go to the Capilano Suspension bridge (or my favourite locals version, Lynn Canyon Suspension bridge. Another option is drive to Grouse Mountain and take the gondola up for expansive views of Vancouver. If you don’t want to drive to the north shore, you could do Granville Island + Queen Elizabeth park, which is a local favourite and has some of the best views of downtown Vancouver with the Mountains.
