OMG! Should have hustled to Vancouver rather than spend an extra day at sea (due to a storm). This was a nice port, in a very interesting and beautiful city. We decided to spend a day here after getting off the boat. Should have spent more. Great shopping and eats. Spent time in the Gas Lamp area. There is a China Town area in this city also. Beautiful, clean, and an amazing public transportation system. Who needs a car?

This city has the best access to the port. If you don't have too much luggage you can take a tram that runs forms the airport to the pier. You pass thru downtown, Stanley Park, and tons of restaurants and shops. If you stay over night be sure to seek out a jazz club they have some of the best in this city. If you stay close to the pier you can enjoy a beautiful walk

We booked a Vancouver highlights tour through shipmate for this port to take us from the cruise terminal to the airport and to visit some of this incredibly beautiful city. This excursion did not disappoint and even the price of the tower was included in the tour price. Stanley Park was amazing and we got to stop several times to see the different areas, including the Totem poles (our guide, who was British, told us way more about the Totems than the guide that had lived in Ketchikan for over 50 years!) We also got to go to the public market on Granville Island and I had some authentic poutine. The market was amazing! At the end, the guide drops you off at the airport near whichever airline you're flying home on. I highly recommend this trip if you have the time!

"Fly Over Canada" wrap-around film in the same building (Canada Place) where we docked. Wonderful experience, just very short. There is also a room to check luggage right where we picked it up. We loved hanging out in the park by the dock & watching the sea planes take off & land. Very relaxing.

Beautiful, we, on our own, visited Grouse Mountain. The food and gifts were pricey to say the least, but the views were unbeatable! The mountain is home to two Grizzly Bears that were rescued from injury, they play and frolic in the water and around the area not really pying attention to us onlookers and our cameras.
