We booked the White Pass train which we all enjoyed. We only did the loop for the 3 hr trip. Then we walked around the quaint town and did some shopping.

White Pass Railroad. A great excursion. For first time Alaska cruisers this is a must see.

A must to expore... we can't wait to go back in 2019. The White Pass Train is a must "do"! The narration is full of history and engaging. My husband needed cash, and our visit to the Skagway Wells Fargo Bank is a must see! Sounds silly, but they have there original safe in the lobby and kept the "vintage" feel, yet it's a bank! If the tellers aren't busy, their happy to chat about the history. :-)

Favorite port!!! We went on the Yukon Discovery excursion with Frontier Excursions and had Candace as our driver/guide. We couldn’t have been happier with this tour! Amazing scenery, incredible wildlife, great lunch and so much fun!!!! If we ever get to go back to Skagway, we will absolutely do this tour again! One of the highlights of the entire trip!!!

Loved the town as well as the train ride! It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Town hasn’t been “ruined “ by tourism and still has its charm. Absolutely loved it!!!!

We LOVED Skagway. We rode the train early in the morning and we are so glad that we did. The temperature was perfect. The train ride was an amazing experience I highly recommend everybody going on this excursion. On our way back down we had to stop because a huge boulder had went on the tracks and it took drilling and a crew to lift the boulder away. it was kind of scary because if the train had been there when the boulder came down who knows what would have happened. When I went back into town we did some shopping and bought some salmon. We went to the Alaskan fried bread shop and enjoyed huge pieces of bread with sugar on it and root beer that was made in Skyway. When we were drinking it while we were shopping one of the workers thought that we were drinking alcohol and became upset with us until we told her it was just root beer. Lol Skagway is so beautiful and we loved walking around the town I think that Skagway was our most favorite port. We will definitely be visiting again.
