We left our shore excursion after half an hour--it seemed to have been a short excursion that was "stretched" to make it a higher cost excursion.

I loved Sitka, small and clean. We didn't take any tours here but walked around town. We went to the historical center and the Raptor Center. Just delightful.

Not enough time spent in this port we thought. They have a great cultural history that needed more time to see it all. The pharmacy downtown was a great place to stop and visit their old fashioned, soda fountain.

A nice compact site. Shops, gallerys, historical sites, touch sea life, hatchery, and National Park all within 30 minute walk if one went from one end to the other. Nice art work.
