Sitka was my least favorite port on the trip. The town wasn’t as interesting as some of the others in my opinion. We did a bike excursion, but it really wasn’t all that awesome. You basically biked back down the same road you drove in on so you didn’t get to see much new. It still has the beauty of Alaska, but I personally enjoyed the other ports more.

Walked around the town. A small town, but a lot to see. Quaint houses, churches and a love marina and park.

We didn't realize that Sitka requires a tender - not my favorite activity, to wait to go to shore. Nice surprise - our excursion boat picked us up at the ship! We saw otters, eagles, harbor seals, humpback whales and orca whales. We finished up at the Sitka Raptor Center, which rehabilitates eagles and other birds of prey. Due to rain, did not see much of the rest of town.

Was not able to do an excursion due to being in a scooter.

The ATV fails because the oil of the engine has problems. Is a 4x4 excursion.
