There was a medical emergency the night before which delayed our arrival by approximately 2 hours. As a result everything was closed. It was raining and windy so there was no point in going ashore.

Interesting history. Jet boat ride up the river with spectacular scenery.

Prince Rupert was nice. The shops are cute and everyone was so kind to us. Our excursion was to the Butze Rainforest and I would go back again if just to visit this again. It was great! The only thing was that the downtown was a bit small and a little pricey, but other than that it was so fun.

Least favorite port -- really a place for the ship to get gas -- get off, walk around and get exercise -- nothing against Canada at all -- as a matter of fact, some might enjoy the fact that it is not so "commercial" -- great local art gallery -- don't miss it!

Nothing here, walking tour was boring and shops close early, so if you do whale or eagle watching trips, you miss the shops, but not a great loss. Do not reccomend this stop.

Absolutely beautiful Canadian town, but not a true tourist site. You will not enjoy if you are looking for shopping and tourist-y activities. You will enjoy if you would like to see beautiful small Canadian town with totems and lots of bald eagles. Very nice people, nice town to walk around.

We chose this port for our whale watching because it was the one where Orcas were mentioned as a possibility. The four-hour tour was terrific and very rewarding. Humpbacks as well as Orcas. The guide and the crew of the small boat were excellent. Got some great pix.

Really nothing there. However, the best meal of the trip was at a small hole-in-the -wall restaurant calles Smiles on the pier.
