Review summary
Onboarding the cruise ship at Ballantyne pier may have soured my entire experience. We arrived at the dock at 12:30 and it took over 3 hours of waiting in lines to board the NCL ship. Food was mediocre and NCL seems to really nickel and dime you on everything. Specialty restaurants were better, but you have to pay a service fee of between $10 - $35/person for each meal. Entertainment was mediocre as well. We attended a few events on board, but overall I felt like there wasn't enough entertainment and activities. NCL could be better able providing availability to more activities and services for longer hours.Ship experiences
