We attended the Lumberjack Show. Highly recommend. It was a great performance by some world-class timber sport lumberjacks! We then walked the city around historic Creek Street. Great city for shopping too.

We decided to enjoy the culture a little more by getting off early for breakfast. We went to the Pioneer Cafe. Amazing food, nobody there but us. We ended up shopping all day and realized at the end.....that we didnt even make it past the "tourist trap" area. Make sure you actually walk to the Creek Street and enjoy the locals more. We were dissappointed that we thought thats where we were and we werent. If we wouldve went that direction (straight off the ship), not left, we would also have done the Lumberjack show. We did however, enjoy our little scavenger hunt for freebies that we got with coupons on the ship. Only there 5 hrs so wasnt alot of time to do much.

Our excursion here was Jeep and Canoe. We drove a Jeep to Lake Margaret, canoed across, had a little snack of clam chowder, took a short walk in the forest, HUGE TREES!!! We then got back in the canoes, back to the Jeeps. We took the Jeeps up a trail to see Diane Mountain. Great trip!!

Great walking town. Quaint and cute. Strolled through shops to Lumber Jack Show, walked to Creek Street and hiked through Married Men's Path. A challenge to explain the history to my 10 year old. Observed the Salmon Ladder, short walk to Salmon Hatchery and Totem Pole Museum. Lovely creekside scenery along the stroll. I highly recommend Totem Museum. Only $5 and kids free. Ketchikan Museum $3 and kids free.
