Went up the Mount Roberts tram to visit the nature centre. We walked to the observation platforms to admire the views and then returned to stroll through the town. Many touristy shops.

Whale watching and crab feast. The whale watching was not so good cause of the weather. It was pouring down rain and the water was ver rough. We did see whales, but the viewing was hard on the boat with the fog on the window, people standing trying to get a photo when they pop up. Windows were opened and it helped but we got drenched. I think if the boat had been bigger, or had a place to stand outside to see it would have been better. The crab at Tracy’s was amazing!

Loved Juneau but ship departure at 1:00 was extremely limiting in available excursions. Did do a whale watching tour for $115pp vs ships $189. Great boat, 30 people, lots of whales great fun. That’s all the time we had. Would have rated higher if had more time

Did a Mendenhall glacier, whale watch, and salmon lunch tour. We saw several whales. Good excursion, with some time left to grab delicious king crab and chowder back in Juneau.
