We did the Whales & Trails excursion and it was absolutely great. We had rain but it did not make the excursion any less exciting.

The Mendenhall Glacier was incredible. Suggest to take the helicoptor ride and trek the glacier. Didn't spend enough time at this port. would have like to explore more of Juneau

Did whale watching and Mendenhall glacier.Was disappointed in whale watching. Only saw one whale. Was guaranteed to see one or $100 back. Did see porpoises and sea lions also. Juneau is a nice clean town.

Too the 25 minute bus ride (tour) to Mendenhall glacier. Glad we got to see it, $90 for 2 of us. Video in the info center was not impressive. Took jam packed tram up Mt Roberts at $70 for 2. Busy day; 20 minute wait going up. Got some good pics in 15 minutes, then we discovered the huge line and waited for an hour and a half to ride back down in a more jam packed tram.

We did a whale watching excursion through Alaska Shore Tours that dropped us off at Mendenhall Glacier afterwards for us to explore on our own time. We saw lots of whales tails and a group of Sea Lions hung out with our boat. Mendenhall Glacier was amazing, and we enjoyed the short hike to Nugget Falls. It was a beautiful spot. We spent the rest of the evening in town. We wish we had just another hour to also go up the tram, but just not enough time.

We didn't visit the town, but did a couple of excursions - I took a helicopter to Mendenhall Glacier and did the 2 mile trek. That was so amazing! My husband went to the Mendenhall Glacier visitor center and saw a Mama bear and her 2 cubs. He also said the tour was really nice.
