Great excursion up to the face of the glacier. Perfect timing for some calving of the glacier. Captain said this was the closest he had been to the glacier all year long.

The sightseeing was amazing. We loved this part even though we had to get up very early. Well worth it though! We did not do an excursion.

For this “port” you must pack layers. It was so cold and we couldn’t stay out here for long. The promenade deck was the best place to view this. The winds were very high on the top decks. Our whole bodies were numb after this and we had sweatshirts, hats, jackets and gloves. I do recommend doing a early wake up for this. We entered at 5 am we woke up around 5:30 and got outside at about 6:30. We got to see everything and the wake up was completely worth it"

We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather and made it all the way to the glacier. Amazing! We saw glaciers floating by our balcony and tons of waterfalls!

Beautiful mountains with snow capped peaks. Some glaciers and some icebergs with seals resting on them. Windy if you’re on the open deck but the view worth it.
