We took this excursion thru carnival and think it was probably my favorite over any other excursion we did. It's the only way to get up close to the glaciers and waterfalls. It was amazing! Got to get fairly close to the seals sitting on the ice in the fjord too! Our naturalist (tour guide) was awesome. A younger gal but very knowledgeable! As a biologist, she follows the humpback whales so lives in Juneau in summer and Maui in winter! Wow, talk about living the dream!

Ships Captain provided a 360 view of glacier so no matter where we were on ship we saw glacier. Amazing shades of blue in the glacier.

Does the ship make a complete circle by the glacier? I was in a different cruise line last time. The ship rotation was fantastic. I’m going on this cruise in the future and am really hoping this ship will do a full circle at the glacier.

Get up early for this and see the Sawyer Glacier! Captain does a 360 degree turn at the glacier so that everyone get a view.

We got onto a small catamaran and traveled up to see the North and South Sayer Glaciers...this was the highlight of our whole trip. Just magnificent, we saw an orca whale kill a seal...he was hungry.
