I liked it as it was...same name, same kind of crowd...old tables...do breakfast there 2-3+ times a cruise as well...seems like nobody knows about it except the "regulars" at least early am....we won't be on PRIMA till next Jan...gotta spend some more time looking at reviews and hints....one thing I do know, NCL (and others) keep doing what they're doing, well....

Renamed it on Joy as well. BUT ... still same good wings. And they make a pretty good mai tai as well.

No no no. My after hours eating option is osheehans! Don t give NCL any ideas

..they already renamed it on PRIMA.

Is that not the next step from a buffet? Maybe start is an the after hours eating option and then expand ....

More money, less service. Hey, maybe someone will bring the Automat back to their ships

Thats what we got the last time we were cruising..chintzy shows requiring less of everything to put them on.., and bad comedians. Which is exactly the point to all this..If they could get away with showing MOVIES instead of ANY live acts, I bet they would. I have seen actual "theatre" on board that would rival "almost" anything ashore....but that was then, not anymore...now, "your services are no longer required...get off my ship..."

I've always loved the Theater (even performed in the school drama club through college). I try to see as many shows as I can, and if I like the show, I'll go multiple times (I'm currently getting ready to see "We Will Rock You" again on Anthem). There are some shows I can do without though, such as "Spectra's Caberet" (the only reason I'm seeing it again is because my niece is coming with me and she hasn't seen it yet....if I were going independently, I could care less if I saw it again).

I would, however, like to see a little more variety in some of the acts like magicians one night, comedy another, and maybe a solo act thrown in somewhere in addition to the ship's performers.

All cruises I have been on is carnival ships. Saw the same playlist shows many times. I believe FLICK I have seen 10 times 88 keys 6 times America rocks 5 times, etc. I still like seeing them(the dancers are great). What i see now is more bingo and comedy coming up. sad sad sad.

Excellent point. We consider them boat rides more than anything else.

Part of the lack of appeal of the stage shows is that many of the cruisers on a given ship have been on that ship before (due to port location and assigned ships) some many many many times. After seeing the show once or twice the interest in seeing it again diminishes. And with so much else always going on the shows are not missed that much.
