Winter hits the United States

This just in.... Snow storms and ice storms have hit the middle states. Snow before thanksgiving..... Sorta makes you want to go on a cruise. Doesn't it.

Just to put things in a perspective.... It's been winter here since mid September, and It's snowing again right now.

Minus 8 to 10 Celsius for the weekend.

That being said.... I hope the kids pony up the extra cash for a February cruise for us. By then I will be close to being tired of winter, Only three months of winter left after that.

First rain of the season hit Los Angeles and Ventura county's, It was good, light rain over a long period so no Mud slides on the news. I guess winter has finally hit .

I saw reports saying this would be the coldest Thanksgiving on record. We were at -1 this morning here (30 F) and supposed to drop to -15 C by early tomorrow (5 F). Brrrrrr. Rude awakening from the 75 and 78 in Bermuda last week.

Central Florida got down in the 50s for a night. Back in the 80s tomorrow. It’s possible our winter is now over… Yummy

That’s so true - we lived in Sherwood Park for about 30 yrs before heading to beautiful BC. I think it’s time to come “home”. Maybe we can cruise together on the Edmonton Queen next summer. Happy

Yea, That's the down side of living here. However, on the plus side, the people here are great.
