Winter hits the United States

This just in.... Snow storms and ice storms have hit the middle states. Snow before thanksgiving..... Sorta makes you want to go on a cruise. Doesn't it.

Just to put things in a perspective.... It's been winter here since mid September, and It's snowing again right now.

Minus 8 to 10 Celsius for the weekend.

That being said.... I hope the kids pony up the extra cash for a February cruise for us. By then I will be close to being tired of winter, Only three months of winter left after that.

Thanks for the chance to vent.Crying

Starting to hate winter especially the high winds.

Awe winter. When the first snow comes to Alaska, it is time for Bubba to vacate the area. Maui, visit family in Southern California and cruising. When the kids call and tell me breakup id going on I return to the beauty of Alaska.

Winter is our favorite time to cruise! We will be heading out (on a cruise) again in February and have started looking at the 2020 season.Big Smile

Brrrrrr winter in Los Angeles we get down to a bone chilling 50 as our low and mid day in 70 to 75 this week., The only white stuff falling from the sky here is ash from the firers. I have actually had to put on a sweat shirt to go to the gym at midnight or 2 AM but have not needed the seat warmers or yet in the SUV. This last week I did use the heat in the house for the first time just to take the chill out of the air in the mornings.

We are seriously thinking of moving back to Edmonton from the Okanagan, but the thought of winter for so many months again, isn’t good. Sad

Yea, That's the down side of living here. However, on the plus side, the people here are great.

That’s so true - we lived in Sherwood Park for about 30 yrs before heading to beautiful BC. I think it’s time to come “home”. Maybe we can cruise together on the Edmonton Queen next summer. Happy

Look me up when you come up.

Central Florida got down in the 50s for a night. Back in the 80s tomorrow. It’s possible our winter is now over… Yummy

I will. Happy
