Thanks, everyone, I know that the cabin means much to all when it comes to cruising. What is your preferred room choice? Interior, balcony, suite, Havanna, Or porthole. Our choice really depends on what we can afford and availability. I think it's fair to say we enjoy the Balcony and Havanna. what says you.

The best was the first. The Carnival Holiday was a small ship but full of wonder. Now it's the Conquest class of ship. We find them easy to navigate, have the amenities we prefer, and fit our activity requirements.

Grandeur Of The Seas (Royal Caribbean, I know) because of the itinerary:

Flew into LONDON and got a connection to ROME

Spent 3 days in ROME pre-cruise

Cruised to ATHENS, SANTORINI, and EPHASIS before returning to ROME

Flew back to LONDON and spent 3 days there before flying HOME

My first Carnival ship was the Carnival Conquest. I was on a destroyer for 4 years and I did not want to be on any kind of ship. Wife convinced me to try a cruise out of Galveston. Set foot on Conquest, I was hooked. It was a palace. I took a behind scene tour of ship, did a motorcycle excursion in Cozumel, ate food all the time, crew was outstanding, the Playlist shows were amazing!. Got 28 cruises under my belt now.
