Vista interior for 4?

Booking on Vista for December of 2024- two adults and two teenagers in an interior room. Looking for the most economical option, with some level of comfort. Would a standard interior or the family harbor provide more space? Not really concerned about any other FH amenities, just the best use of space. There’s $140 difference between them. Thanks.

Don't do it, you'll likely regret it.

I was watching a documentary of a family of four (1 tween, & 1 teen) who stayed in an inside cabin aboard the Crystal Serenity when COVID hit the ship.

They were confined to that cabin for weeks; it was not pleasant.

Try and go larger stateroom, or connecting interior rooms at least. Unless, your family is keen in small spaces, then it's a non-issue.

Just my opinion.

So long as the life jacket to passenger ratio is correct, all good. Crying

Where would all those jackets be stored, or with that many in one cabin, does one just wear them all the time? Me thinks probably and it saves on luggage as the wardrobe needs are certainly cut down.

Bon Voyage for sure!!

I told you they were a nice bunch of people here Rosemary.

delighted you joined and the posters are lovely.

I believe this is what is known this side of the pond as tongue in cheek humour. It is meant to amuse and be taken with a grain of salt. .

Thanks so much.

Welcome to the asylum ROSE....great pic.....

we like balcony cabin for two persons only with big bed

I am curious as to how the cruise line would approve of this.

It does seem rather a lot of people doesn't it ?

We had a family harbor cabin on Vista and it was a pain. 3 grand daughters wife and me. Our pvp suggested this, and we were on a Vista cruise before this one, looked at family harbor and we decided we messed up. One room with 4 females using the restrooms, etc....bad bad bad, want to use bathroom one is always in there.. We wanted 2 balconies joined together, but pvp made the snack and activity room sound exciting. When beds are pulled out (3 bunk beds and one double bed, no moving about the room) On top grand kids just wanted to stay in cabin and eat the free junk food and watch t v. I spent most of my cruise on the lido deck next to the d j named dee dee, we were great friends by time cruise was over. Well definitely get 2 balconies next time. It is worth the extra money

OMG - everybody is different. I truly enjoy one person to a cabin, two maximum. My Cousins in California could book six adults, four children, and sixteen grandchildren in an inside cabin and all be perfectly happy.

Depending on your family closeness, you may have a wonderful experience together, or Security may be posted outside your cabin door within two hours after departure for the cruise duration. Hopefully, for your sake - the former.

Money is different for everyone. If me, adults in a balcony, teenagers in an inside cabin across the hall (passageway). If money is tight, be together, go with a great attitude, and enjoy the experience. Bon voyage!!
