Trying New Things on a Cruise

I am not normally a "spa" person but I was given membership to the Lotus Spa Enclave on the Royal and fell in love with the experience, frequenting it several times a day. Have never shown interest on previous cruises and will probably not become a spa person when home BUT loved the new experience.

What have you tried "new" on a cruise that you enjoyed?

Yummy Rabit but can't find the cook Army 1982 Germany " Taste like Chicken"

Escargot.

The only thing I've seen on the menu that I haven't tried before cruising was rabbit, and I just can't do it. We went cave tubing in Belize and loved it, and we had a helicopter tour booked for next March in Grand Turk but Carnival cancelled it.

Now THAT sounds like fun.

I try a lot of the foods..... first time I had Sushi was on Celebrity Infinity, Last cruise I tried Alligator.

On RCI I tried to pay mini golf while in rough seas and with a good buzz from drinking. On Carnival I tried the Concert Series.

I am looking forward to trying the "new" Sanctuary on the Regal.

Or dumped under the table?

Sounds believable!!Big Smile

As far as trying something new, I will generally order something I have never tried from the MDR menu. I have yet to send anything back!

I found out I like escargot on Norwegian. Of course, anything smothered in that much butter and garlic is bound to taste good

Right. However, there is a testing stage that needs to be done and this could from one of the CEO's office. Surprised

Might where the idea came from. You never know.
