I wear contacts and occasionally glasses. I lost an expensive pair of prescription sunglasses on a paddle boarding excursion .. knocked off by a wave, glasses swept away at sea ... Later, I purchased an inexpensive (less than $20) pair of prescription glasses from Zenni Optical online. (My eye doctor was totally comfortable giving me my prescription and PD). They are now my go-to glasses in the ocean! Not only can I see well with them, they are "stylish" as well and if the ocean claims them, oh well, I'm out $20 ....

My husband is an avid golfer and wears progressive bifocal glasses normally. He gave Zennioptical a whirl and ordered special prescription sunglasses for putting and is tickled to death with them. Again, we were shocked at the quality.

I wear the contacts with sunglasses when I'm out and about. My boyfriends father lost his prescription oakley sunglasses by a rogue wave at maho though. Luckily he had another pair, but that was a good 150 he lost to the ocean...I always pack more than one for that reason.

I will have to ck into that. My prescription sunglasses were more expensive than I care to think about.
